There was a white box waiting for me when I got home from work tonight. I had no idea what it was until I saw the word Mongoose in the return address. I didn’t expect the books to get here so quickly, but I am completely ecstatic. Check out the slide show below or the album here.

No need to be jealous, I’m sure they have more copies available. 😉

Ahh crap, I want those. I still have a tiny bit of tax return money left . . .

I may or may not have ordered the rest of the series and spent way too much money. 😯

Oh wow. It’s funny, I have that book on my shelf, have had it since I was a little kid. No idea they made a nicer version.

Just found out recently myself, but they are really nice and have been updated a little bit as well.

Very cool. I never knew about these books until a friend told me about 7 or so years ago. He grew up with them and has an original he let me read/play. I liked the RPG-lite elements thrown in with a bit of choose your own adventure.

This was a great genre when I was a kid. Unfortunately it’s mostly dead now, which is why I was so ecstatic to find that the Lone Wold series was being republished and updated.
