It isn’t as if I’ve been ignoring LotRO-related news, I still read the same blogs and listen to the same podcasts, but somehow I had very little interest in the coming Update, Echoes of the Dead, until I read the patch notes. I think it’s because I kept hearing about talk of the new instances and raid cluster which I didn’t care about and nothing about the Book 3 update. Guess I missed that Dev diary.
I wonder if Brynulf is locked out of his house in Bree…
Interested After All
Lots of changes coming to the LI system and other cool stuff, like the extra Milestone ports and so on. Also extra storage – for cash, as usual, unfortunately.
The Stone of Erech session play will be interesting. I won’t spoil you what happened at the Stone of Erech here, and if you know what happened there, it was no spoiler. 🙂
There are a lot of mechanics changes, but really it’s just the content additions that draw my interest any more. I haven’t looked too deeply into the LI system changes, but what I saw didn’t really feel like enough of a change to me. We’ll see if that changes once I try it out but I don’t think it’s going to feel much more legendary.
The changes coming to the LI system and the fact that we will actually be able so solo book 2 in Moria are the two biggies I’m really looking forward to. The raids I don’t much care about.
Soloing book 2 will be nice. I got stuck on some 3-man instances in the epic quest line, if I remember right.
